We are pleased to announce that Backyard Cinema is now OPEN!

Tickets for our summer themes Miami Beach and LA Nights are available to purchase from our website.

We are continuing to implement our COVID-19 safety measures throughout the venue to help keep you safe. You can find all the information you need to know on this below.

Staff training and PPE

All staff have received refreshed and up to date training, including that for COVID-19, and have been equipped with the necessary PPE; they’re prepared and ready to answer any questions you might have, and are committed to ensuring your visit is safe and enjoyable.

Reduced capacity & social distanced seating throughout the venue

To allow for maximum social distancing, we’ve reduced the venue’s capacity and have implemented a distanced seating plan in the cinema; we’ll be seating groups in pods of 2 or 3 with at least 1m between each.

Online bookings only

All of our bookings are accepted online, making sure we’re in control of the venue’s capacity at all times and that we’re able to get in contact with you following your visit if we need to.

Temperature checks

Our friendly front of house team will be checking temperatures on arrival, ensuring you can relax amongst others once inside the building and safely enjoy your visit.

Sanitising stations

We have introduced sanitising stations throughout the venue for your use; please use these as often as you see them, and practice regular hand washing during your visit.

Increased cleaning

You might notice the presence of our cleaning team throughout the venue, they’ll be making sure the space is spotless and will be regularly cleaning high-touch point areas. This includes all our traders, kitchens, food preparation and service areas.

One way systems

We have implemented a one way system throughout the venue, which is clearly signposted by floor markings; our team will also be present to remind & help you with this during your visit.

Ventilation procedures

We’ll regularly ventilate the venue during opening hours, and screening rooms between shows, ensuring there is a supply of fresh air to all spaces.

Contactless payments only

We’ll only be accepting contactless payments for food and drinks throughout the venue, in order to minimise human interaction and possible contact.

And finally, if you’re showing symptoms of COVID-19 or live with someone that is, PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THE VENUE – contact our customer services team by telephone or email to rearrange your show. And if you feel unwell at any point during your visit to the venue, please alert a member of staff immediately who will be able to help.
